Mr. Sherif S. Samy
Former Chairman of the Financial Regulatory Authority
Sherif is a financial markets and investment advisor. He is the Chairman of the National Asset Management & Investment SAE and chairs the Investment Advisory Board of the Arab Agricultural Investment & Development Authority. He serves on the boards of the National Investment Bank, the Universal Health Insurance Authority, the French University in Egypt and other investment and education companies.
Brief Bio
Sherif is the former Chairman of CIB Egypt and the Egyptian Financial Regulatory Authority. He was also board member of the Central Bank of Egypt, the General Authority for Investment & Free Zones (GAFI) and Banque Du Caire.
He is the founding managing director of Misr Capital (the Banque Misr investment arm). Sherif started his career with the global consulting firm Accenture, working in Chicago, Riyadh and Beirut.
